Avalokitesvara: Radiating Compassion in all Worlds

The great mantra of the Tantra of Tibet, OM MANI PADME HUM (universal jewel in the lotus heart) is an expression of the nature of Avalokitesvara revealed in this print. OM is symolized by the whirling wheel, MANI as the vajra, the diamond-jewel, PADME as the lotus flower and HUM as the image of the Chorten, the synthesis of the five elements and wisdom. These are the four corners of this print.
